2008 PGA Tour Wins- Putters

So you say you want to play like the pros do? Well then the first thing to wrap your arms around is that professional golfers have a tremendous amount of natural talent and they also practice more than us mere mortals do, after all it is their livelihood!

Another thing the pros do is to usually stick with something if it has been producing results. The old saying is “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” and if the pros are having success with a putter, it may stay in their bag for years.

It also seems that the pros have the ability to have the world’s best equipment manufacturers design just the right putter or driver or wedge to fit them like a glove, weird, huh? There seems to have been consciences who would be making the putters for the pros in 2008. Scotty Cameron by Titleist had 23 wins during the 2008 PGA Tour season. Odyssey was a distant second place with 11 PGA Tour wins.
